On Tuesday the 5th of April, a selection of key Auckland food media joined us at White+Wong’s to taste an extensive range of the menu. We had guests from Dish, Cuisine, Bite, Metro, Fresh, Concrete Playground and Eat Here Now.
From the Fijian style sashimi of kingfish, Peking Duck, and Wagyu beef shumai to Wok fried chicken wings and Massaman curry of Cardrona lamb shoulder, our guests we’re blown away by the flavours. No one was leaving the night hungry that’s for sure.
We filled up the Waterview room, with beautiful views over the harbour and the ability to see through to the main restaurant, our guests got a true insight into the vibe of the place.
Stuart Rogan (Group Executive Chef) came out with every few dish to explain the thought and preparation gone into the whole process.
After a few glasses of Champagne and a belly well and truly full, the night ended with us successfully having left a positive impression on our wonderful food media.
